Dan & Liz: HONEYMOON SURPRISES!

A few months ago Dan of Dan Stewart Photography contacted me about a honeymoon surprise for his bride to be Liz. I gladly obliged and we set a date while they were out in California for the second half of their honeymoon. Dan & Liz live and work in Michigan and they came out here to visit sunny southern California. We hung out in Newport Beach and Balboa and captured some of the Dan and Liz spark! I have to say I'm a bit jealous, it's not easy as a photographer to be a model in front of the camera and they worked it out! I also thought Dan was such a sweety because he kept the whole thing a surprise. As photographers sometimes we forget to document our own lives in the same fashion we may for clients. Liz had lamented that they didn't have fun photos of them and Dan was listening! He even took her out to buy a sweet new outfit and super sassy shoes for our shoot.

Dan & Liz it was so great to meet you! We had so much fun hanging out with the two of you and we can't wait to do it again! Please come back and visit!!

The Primping Parleur

Every bride needs to look fabulous on their wedding day, period. Our friend Lisa is in the business of making women feel beautiful. She runs a gorgeous boutique in downtown Brea that is a girly dream! Every time I go in I never want to leave. The design is chic and welcoming, the makeup is to die for and there are sweet sounds of Erykah Badu or Amy Winehouse playing gently in the background. The Primping Parleur run by Lisa and her lovely assistants can take care of all you beauty needs and make you feel right at home. Sit down on the couch, enjoy Moulin Rouge on the flat screen or pick up the latest issue Glamour and peruse it at your leisure. We are huge fans of the Primping Parleur and you will be too!

Nikki & Rob: MARRIED!!

I'm not gonna lie... blogging from Hawaii is pretty awesome. Vacation is wonderful and some time to get away from everything is much appreciated. I know not everyone can get to Hawaii. But I just want to encourage everyone to make time for rest. The pace of life back in Southern California is TOO fast. It's a relief to sit and not have to run and keep a crazy schedule. I challenge you, yes you, to turn everything off for a day and just RELAX. Enjoy the blessings and all the people you love. You will not regret it.

Nikki & Robert were married at the Summit House. This venue holds a special place in our hearts because we shot our first wedding for our business here almost 3 years ago! Nikki and Rob have are chill. They are relaxed and fun and stress-free and we love that about them! They have great friends and we enjoyed laughing with them and watching them all get their dance on!!
